Woodlands Industries was established 1991 and became a Pty. Ltd company in 1995. From 1980 to1991 the business operated as John Bruce Electrical. The company is a family business with the directors John and Karin Bruce having their sons Ryan & Philip both working for the company as managers.
The company operates from Queanbeyan NSW & services the ACT & surrounding NSW as well as a large area of NSW. The southern tablelands Goulburn & surrounding areas, south coast from Wollongong to Moruya, West from Dubbo to Wagga Wagga. Woodlands is familiar to most local & interstate businesses for our extensive knowledge in electrical, instrumentation, data and communications installation and maintenance services as well as our dedication to quality.
Woodlands Industries is a pre-qualified contractor for both NWS & ACT governments.
Woodlands Industries provide services to various Government departments, Defence, ACT Health, International & National companies throughout NSW & the ACT. Woodlands Industries have contracted on the ACT housing & community service contract since 2012 & various Defence contracts in NSW & the ACT since early 1990’s.
In the past Woodlands Industries has supplied it’s services for installation and maintenance to companies for projects and contracts such as Veolia Woodlawn operations, Heron resources Woodlawn coper & zinc mine, B.H.P. Port Kembla, local and surrounding mines, washeries and coke ovens, local quarries, cement works, chemical plants and other hazardous areas . Woodlands have extensive experience in the wastewater treatment & reuse operations.
Woodlands work closely with Veolia Environmental Services Woodlawn operations with continuous development & improvement to manage waste & natural resources by developing new & improved methods of processing of recycling & managing household waste materials. Woodlands are proud to be involved in making Australia more environmentally responsible with its waste management.
